King Nakhar of the Nomads was the first and last king of the united nomad tribes and an ascended deity of the Nomadic pantheon.

HistoryEdit

Jhalli EraEdit

Nakhar was born as the son of the old king of the Bir tribe, prior to the Jhalli conquest, now a slave to the Jhalli empire. Heavily identified as a nomad and as a Bir Tribe member, he garnered respect from all the slaves around him.

The RevoltEdit

After King Troghu the Usurper claimed the throne of Jhal'Khaz and was driven from Areheim by Kativa, Nakhar led a slave revolt under his supposedly magykal banner, working with champions representing all fourteen of the Nomad Tribes (Nakhar himself representing the Bir tribe). After a long siege, Nakhar and his armies took Shanak'Khaz and tortured and killed Troghu. Shanak'Khaz was named the seat of the Nomad Empire and soon the tribes united into a single, great tribe.

The Quest into Ala'makha'nakho Edit

This peace lasted for many years until Nakhar and his champions recieved a quest from Kocovnis and, armed with the greatest pieces of enchanted gear from the Jhalli coffers, ventured into the depths of Ala'makha'nakho (The Labyrinth of the Underworld), an ancient pathway in Kelgrimen which reputedly leads to the underworld. During this time the tribes split apart and war broke out amongst them. When Nakhar, many years later, returned without the champions (who had stayed behind and had ascended to godhood, each becoming a patron deity of their tribes), he saw what had happened and, after a short war, reuinted his people, who stayed united until his natural death.

DeathEdit

After Nakhar died, his body was entombed in the Jhalli catacombs in Shanak'Khaz. Soon after, dead began to rise and defend his tomb and the city, forcing the nomads, now split into their original fourteen tribes, to abandon the city permanently.

InhabitanceEdit

Morgh Khaz, after claiming the banner of Nakhar and destroying Nakhar's ghost, possessed the body of Nakhar, still preserved by his banner.
